How Did I Get Here?

After years of raising our 4 kids from babyhood into early childhood we’ve finally pulled our heads out of the sand.

Convenience and ease were more important than cost.  When we had money it was easy to spend it on rewarding ourselves or our children.

Now we are learning to lead a centsible life.

I started this journey 6 months ago, when I really started to look at every penny we had and were spending. I have tried a lot of online tools, but found the best interface and support at Wesabe. Recently we felt the need to cut back even further so we embarked on a No Spend Month.  I’ve posted about my experiences on Wesabe, and my local mom’s group and have gotten a ton of positive support.

I have been getting some press coverage, so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to share what I’m learning with others on a larger scale.
