Today I spent part of this very rainy afternoon talking social media with local writers at Push to Publish 2009 held by Philadelphia Stories. (with thanks to Cecily Kellogg)
I had a fantastic time! My fellow panelists were from various areas of the literary world.
Our moderator, Don Lafferty, social media consultant.
Nancy Viau, children’s book author. She wrote Samantha Hansen Has Rocks in Her Head. I can’t wait to pick this one up for my kids!
Anne Evans, who blogs at Barefoot Muse blog, and writes an e-zine called Barefoot Muse, a journal of formal and metrical verse.
And me!
It was fun to talk about my favorite social media tools, and share with the authors and aspiring writers how they can grow their brands through social media.
At the end of the session a woman asked me what my “end goal” was with my career? Is it publishing a book? Before I had a chance to answer she got engrossed in another conversation, but I’ve been thinking about it ever since she asked. I’ll let you know when I figure it out.
