Meal Plan: Week of March 18th

Things are finally settling down with the end of the robotics season in our house, so I expect until the Spring sports start up I’ll be cooking up a storm. Of course, it would be nice if it was Spring-like outside, but it’s still cold and wet here. Punxsutawney Phil is a liar.

March 11th Meal Recap

Monday: Audrey’s 9th birthday! On the kid’s birthdays they get to pick their favorite meal, so she picked brinner. French toast, fruit, sausage, and bacon are on the menu.

Brinner is just the best, and since it was Audrey’s birthday we had ice cream (with candles on top) for dessert.

Tuesday: Pork chops and applesauce. (sorry I couldn’t resist) I’ll also serve a side salad and mashed sweet potatoes. I make mine with butter and maple syrup. YUM.

I made taco night instead.

Wednesday: Tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, and salad.

Pork chops were served this evening instead. A little nutmeg makes this savory dish a little spicy sweet.

Thursday: Perfect chicken, cornbread, salad, and fresh fruit salad.

We had leftovers instead of cooking.

Friday: Homemade pizzas, salad, and garlic bread.

Who doesn’t love pizza?

Saturday: Clean out the fridge night.

The hubby and I had a date night so the kiddos got to clean out the fridge with their babysitter.

Sunday: Sirloin steaks, cheesy mashed potatoes, green beans, and a side salad.

I cooked perfect chicken, drool-worthy cheesy mashed potatoes, green beans, and salad.

What’s on your menu this week?

really enjoyed this post!! I’m curious looking back at previous posts, if the winners for the ThankYou sweepstakes were ever announced?

You should do a post on how the winners spent their points and maybe highlight any tips they have for getting the best value from TY points!!!
