Wow. I’m a lucky girl.

Today I won a prize. A Macbook Pro bundle from Springboard Media. They have a store in Philadelphia and just opened a store less than 5 minutes from my house in Exton.

I entered a contest for their grand opening, when I read about it on twitter. <Jaw drop> won! The prize package includes a Macbook Pro, hard drive, printer, and 1 on 1 classes.

Wait it gets better. As a gift this past Christmas my hubby (who is always super generous) bought me a unibody Macbook. I’m blogging on it now.

Hubby has a 3 year old Macbook Pro, so guess who gets the new computer, and guess who wins the award for most legend-wait for it-ary wife?

I’ll share photos, and details when I pick it up this Saturday.

Woot!-

Kelly

*Disclaimer: Springboard Media did not pay me for this post, nor did they ask me to promote them. I did it because I think they are awesome, and I’m psyched. :)

I just want to say that I love the How I Met Your Mother Reference.

I know that has very little to do with Personal Finance, but it has to be said.

Wow so awesome Kelly! That is so sweet. I've actually been writing about splurging on a Macbook Pro 13" over at FS. It's entitled "Mea Culpa – I Just Spent $1,450 At The Apple Store! I have a 5 year old iBook G4 which is soooooo slow.

But, because of my promise to not buy anything for the month of September, I returned it. Maybe next yr!

I envy you. My Toshiba laptop is several years old and very slow with internet connection. Enjoy!
