Personal Finance Chat on twitter 8pm EST

I participated in several chats over the last few days on twitter and had a ton of fun and met some amazing new people. I had the inspiration last night to have a Personal Finance Chat once a week.

I think it will be a great opportunity to talk to other people who are interested in personal finance, and saving money. I’m hoping this will grow to include other personal finance bloggers so there will be a large group of people to ask questions, talk about tips they use to stay on track, and share our common goal of making our lives richer.

If you don’t have a twitter account, sign up. It’s easy, and a ton of fun. You meet interesting people with common interests and it’s a great place to ask a question and get instant results. You’ll also see people sharing tidbits about their lives (some funny, some not), and links to articles that people have written or are reading.

Tonight’s topic will be budgets and spending plans. Of course you’re welcome to ask questions about anything, that’s just to get us started.

Hope some of you can make it, and if not I’ll be doing this every week!

Remember to use the hashtag #pfchat (for newbies you can put this in the search box or use another site like Tweetchat to read all the relevant posts).
