Gluten free food has come a long way. Even though I’ve only been gluten-free for 3 years the growth in supermarket products that are available at every grocery store is amazing! I never have to worry that I won’t be able to find gluten-free foods on the go since I can always find Udi’s products at markets and grocery stores throughout the US. I also love that they continue to innovate and create new products and new flavors.
Udi’s offered to send us their latest fall creations-the pumpkin muffin and ginger cookies. Of course I said yes! Little did I know the kids would devour these! I was lucky I had a chance to try any! I was able to grab a muffin and a few cookies before they got their hands on them, and WOW-these are just perfect snacks for Fall.
The pumpkin muffins bring my favorite flavor together with my favorite Udi’s product. The muffins are better than any store-bought and will even best most homemade muffins! I’m not just talking about the gluten-free versions either-they are better than most muffins…period!
The pumpkin muffins were mild in flavor, but perfect for Fall snacks or in the mornings with a cup of coffee or tea. They are especially tasty warmed with a little butter and nutmeg sprinkled on top.
Next we tried the ginger cookies. Think of ginger snap flavor but in a soft and chewy cookie and you’re pretty close to the flavor of these delectable treats. Ginger is one of those flavors that reminds me of Fall and the holidays, so I know we’ll be purchasing these a LOT this season. The kids prefer these to regular cookies, so I had to hide a few before they got their paws on them!
In both cases these are easy to pack treats for on the go snacking this Fall. They also work great as an addition to any Fall table or meal so consider bringing them along when visiting family and friends this holiday season.
