If you’re a foodie, or know one you can score a few fabulous gifts for a steal this week. Restaurant.com is one of my favorite ways to go out to eat without breaking the bank.
I use and recommend Restaurant.com based on my personal experience with them. I found the site easy to use, and scored some fabulous gift certificates earlier this year using a different coupon code.
I posted about it on my blog, and one of my readers had an issue with her order. I got in touch with them on twitter, and they worked with her to make sure she got the discount and the gift certificates she wanted. They worked hard to fix the issue and it was all for a few dollars in gift certificates!

Carrie, they do have restrictions. I think they are best for someone you know really well. It's more like a gift of "We'll go out to dinner together," and you would cover the rest of the cost. You could always add a gift certificate to the restaurant as well. For instance if I was going to give a $50 gift certificate I might do that and then add the gift certificates as well. It would stretch the $50 that much further.

i've heard there are a lot of restrictions on how and when restaurant.com gcs can be used. i'd be very wary of giving them as a gift.
