I’m thrilled to announce I’m a part of Open Sky Charity Fusion. 5 bloggers are working with Open Sky and jewelry artist Neida of Hip Fusions Designs to create one of a kind jewelry to benefit their favorite charities. After working with the Childhood Hunger Ends Here campaign, I have become passionate about helping feed hungry children in the US.
The statistics still shock me:

It’s not expensive to help.
For every $1 raised up to 7 meals can be purchased!
A portion of the profits from every sale will be donated to Childhood Hunger Ends Here which benefits Feeding America. I’m donating 25% of my profits, and Open Sky is matching that!
Here’s where the competition part comes in! The blogger with the most orders wins in a big way-Open Sky has agreed to double their contribution! If the winner raises $500 in donations, Open Sky will match and then double the profits!

- Bailey from Makeover Momma created a bracelet and earrings to benefit Fisher House which provides “a home away from home” that enables family members to be close to a loved one during hospitalization.
- Kelly from Kelly Tirman designed a necklace to benefit Faces of Tomorrow which provides free medical and surgical processes to children with facial deformities.
- Julie from Just Precious designed a set of earrings and necklace for the WISH fund, a local preschool’s fund to help needy children attend a wonderful, and warm school.
- Linda from SheSez dreamed up a necklace and earrings for Hollywood Arts, an organization helps homeless youth by giving them classes in the arts.
Neida designed a necklace and earrings with some input from me (though really the process couldn’t have been easier!) to represent Feeding America. Look at this gorgeous, wearable art!
For every purchase of the Childhood Hunger Ends Here necklace ($40) more than 25 meals will be provided for hungry families!
For every purchase of the earrings ($20) over 11 meals will go to hungry families!
