If you follow along with the blog or social media at all you know I have a slight obsession with the newest (note: not smallest) member of our family, Tundra. He’s has fluffy hair, he’s sweet as can be, loves cuddles, and happens to be a canine. While I love my family and friends, there’s no one I’d rather spend time with than Tundra. He’s my BFF while the kids are at school, my shadow whenever I’m in the kitchen, and down for a long walk anytime of the day (and in any weather). He also happens to have the fluffiest fur you’ve ever felt.
When you have a dog like ours it’s like having a new baby. You share pictures of him with strangers, you get stopped on walks to talk about him, and everyone wants to get a look at him.
So when I heard about our sponsor I’d Rather Be With My Dog I was instantly in love. I mean who doesn’t want to show their love of their furry friends wherever they go? Yes, I’m that dog mom now.
How did I’d Rather Be With My Dog start?
IRBWMD was started by a dog lover like me. This is his story…
It was a typical Tuesday night and he was frustrated by a piece of music he was working on. He looked down and sitting right there was his faithful dog Oggy, just staring up at him with big loving eyes. In that very moment, he came up with “I’d rather be with my dog than be with you.” At the time he was having some girl troubles and Oggy helped him tell his story through song. But it didn’t stop there. Next thing he knew he had launched a company for people who felt the same way about their dogs (and cats) that he does.
From hoodies, hats, and t-shirts to cell phone covers, mouse pads, car magnets and more, I’d Rather Be With My Dog has everything the pet lover needs. They even sell paleo grain-free, gluten-free, soy-free dog treats so you can give your dog the best too! The holidays are coming and IRBWMD is a great source for all kinds of gifts for your favourite pets and their humans.
IRBWMD isn’t just a clothing company. IRBWMD helps save dogs’ lives by donating 10% of sales to a different rescue each month.
If you’re looking for a gift for the dog (or cat) lover on your list this holiday season be sure to check them out!
