Instead of sitting inside on the computer, I went to bed early last night, and have been getting the house clean and the spring/summer clothes out of storage this morning.
Today I’ll be spending more time in the yard working on bundling more tree branches and cutting out more brush. I can’t guarantee I’ll be back this weekend since we committed to bringing in a tiller tomorrow to finish getting the backyard ready for the kid’s swing set, and churning up the dirt in the front yard to make a new garden bed.
I love being outside since it’s free, gives me plenty of exercise, and fun!
To keep you busy I’ll offer up some of my favorite articles from around the web this week.
My favorite post this week was from Small Notebook, and focused on giving kid’s gifts that don’t involve “stuff.” I think we could ALL use less stuff in our lives, so you can definitely apply her advice to anyone and everyone.
Repair Pal was mentioned on another site, and I think the idea is great! They offer you unbiased ratings and reviews.
The Simple Dollar discusses Fuel-Efficient Driving. Interesting info. I did know most of this info, but my #1 tip is to keep your tires inflated properly! I saw a huge difference last time we filled the tires with air.
Not from this week, but I wanted to feature it just the same. ![]()
Cathy at Rainy Day Pennies talks about spotting a phishing scam. Pass it along.
Check your financial health index at CNN Money. I got a C.
