Suze Orman's Ultimate Protection Portfolio

Suze Orman is offering a FREE Will & Trust Kit with coupon code 898989.

I tested out the product a bit and found the Will & Trust Kit to be really easy to use, and very basic.

If you don’t have a will in place, this may be the perfect product for you to start estate planning. It’s free, it takes very little time for a lot of peace of mind.

One note if you are married, you will have to make separate wills for each spouse.

We drafted a will and all other relevant documents with a lawyer, and I’m really happy we did. I feel like we had just enough unusual circumstances to make a standard will and trust the lesser option.

If you use the code, I’d love to hear what you think of the product.

Evan,
Thanks for the wonderful feedback.

What would you recommend for a family who can't afford a lawyer? I'd love to find some resources for families who can't afford a lawyer.

And we'll just say I won't tell you about any of our special situations online. :)

Kelly,

I hate these products, and it has nothing to do with protecting business. The time spent with a lawyer gives insight into YOUR situation, as he or she picks apart aspects and issues which you may never have thought of.

Your situation is no where near unusual compared to some of the things I have seen and I have only been out of law school a couple years! People disinheriting certain family members, hating siblings, not trusting one kid while trust the other ones….businesses which are S-Corps which can't just go directly into a normal trust…IRA bene status issues.

I just feel like a software form like this takes away the seriousiness that is creating a Last Will and Testament.
