As a longtime reader of Ramit Sethi’s blog: I will teach you to be rich, I was excited to hear about his upcoming book. Ramit makes personal finance something that is accesible and EASY for everyone. He focuses on young people (recent grads, 20 soemthings, etc.), but his advice applies to the rest of us as well.
Today he’s featuring the first chapter of his book (same title as the blog) for free on his site. I definitely recommend you check it out. Chapter One is called “Optimizing your Credit Cards.”
Even if you aren’t inclined to pick up his book, I would recommend reading this chapter. It is well worth the 20 minutes it will take you, it could save you hundreds to thousands of dollars.
I am finishing up the book as we speak (slowly what with the puppy and all), and will write a full review when I complete it.
Ramit’s book, I Will Teach You to Be Rich arrives in stores March 23rd. For most people the $12 you will spend will easily be earned back 10-20X over!
