It’s freeezing out, and I am not a cold weather fan. My feet and hands are constantly cold from now until May. I love a well put together outfit, but this time of year it’s all about staying warm.
I shared this photo on Instagram this week-this is essentially how I dress for work since I work from home.
Blanket on my head and a warm hat, blanket on my feet, two sweaters, two shirts, socks and/or faux skeepskin boots or slippers, and often the addition of gloves that cover my fingers, but leave my fingertips open for typing.
So, instead of bringing you the perfect holiday look I thought I’d share the best things you can use to keep yourself warm this winter (assuming you live somewhere cold, and if you don’t–shush).
Warm sweaters are a must for your first layer. This is a great sweater to start with for about $20.
These chenille sweaters from Target are my favorite. It’s like wearing a robe only they look lovely. Plus POCKETS!
Fleece leggings are amazing! I asked on Facebook and friends said they are the BEST, and oh my are they right! LOVE them so much.
Fuzzy socks are the BEST. They are also great at cleaning the floor. 😉
Faux sheepskin slippers will keep your toes warm all day long.
Bluetooth beanie it’s not only great for making calls i will also keep you warm).
Fingerless gloves are amazing. They keep your hands warm, but allow you to tip, tweet, or take photos. Ideal for the tech obsessed (ahem, yours truly).
Blankets or throws–you need a million, but make sure you get one that’s a bit on the larger side since most throws are tiny.
While I may look like a snowman in so many layers I don’t mind if I feel just slightly warmer than usual!
What are your cold weather go tos?
