Week Nine Meal Recap

Monday: Hamburgers and hot dogs, frugal fries, and salad

Easy, yummy, and we came up with an even better version of homemade fries (I’ll share the recipe shortly).

Tuesday: Split chicken breasts, brown rice, salad, sliced oranges
We skipped the brown rice tonight in favor of fresh fruit salad.

Wednesday: Gluten-free pasta, broccoli, garlic bread, cheese & sauce, salad
Instead of pasta we had taco night since I had some ground beef I needed to use up.

Thursday: Cider glazed pork loin, gluten-free corn bread, salad

I was really sick on Thursday so hubby pitched in and made sandwiches with some fruit on the side.

Friday: Pizza night, garlic bread, salad
We ate chicken again since I had some in the fridge I needed to use.

Saturday: Clean out the fridge night
Always a favorite! This week we worked on cleaning out the old cereal boxes with brinner-everyone mixed whatever cereal they wanted so we could get rid of some overzealous coupon purchases (no one likes to eat Corn Chex every day, who knew?).

Sunday: Stir Fry night (shrimp, steak, veggies) with rice and salad

I so need to look at a calendar more often! D’oh! This was my daughter’s 8th birthday, so we ate out instead of cooking at home.

Week 10 Meal Plan: Week of March 12th

Monday: Rosemary Roast, roasted broccoli, salad, baked potatoes

Tuesday: Bone-in chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, salad w/ green apples and cranberries

Friday: Hamburgers, frugal fries, salad

Saturday: Clean out the fridge night

Sunday: Roasted chicken, salad, green beans
