365 Day Meal Plan:: Week 24

June 18, 2012 By Kelly Leave a Comment

This past week was our first official week of summer vacation, but since two of the kids were visiting my parents it was definitely different than the rest of our summer will be! With a more laid back schedule and slightly later bedtimes we ate a bit later than usual, and I’m sensing I’ll be more lax about sticking to my meal plan since meals sometimes take a backseat to summertime fun. 😉

This week’s menu plan is super simple! I’m headed out of town to Type A Parent Conference where I’ll be speaking, learning, hugging, and Just Dance-ing. (pictures to come I promise) Now onto this week’s meal plan recap and menu.

Reminder: You can create your own rotating menu plan by downloading my  free menu plan template and printable grocery list.

Week 23 Meal Recap

Monday:  Fried chicken legs, roasted potatoes, watermelon, cornbread, green beans, salad.

We purchased some fresh shrimp and mahi mahi from the grocery store, so opted to have that instead.

Tuesday:  Taco night!

Easy, and tasty!

Wednesday:  We have dentist appointments today, so brinner is in order in case anyone’s mouth is sore. Smoothies, pancakes, bacon, fruit salad, and oatmeal.

We ate leftovers instead, and saved brinner for the following night.

Thursday:  Key west style fish, super fries, watermelon, and spinach salad.

We had brinner this evening. So yummy.

Friday:  Pizza night!

Kids had ‘fun night’ so we ate out, and they had an early dinner of sandwiches and fresh fruit.

Saturday:  Clean out the fridge night.

There wasn’t much to clean out-so we had takeout instead.

Sunday:  Dad’s choice! It’s Father’s Day so the hubby will get to pick what he wants.

Pizza night-perfect since it was dad’s choice and that’s his favorite!

Week 24 Meal Plan: Week of June 18th

Monday:  Hamburgers and hot dogs, super fries, corn on the cob, salad.

Tuesday:  Picnic! We’re going to be running around like crazy Tuesday, so I’m packing a picnic for dinner.

Wednesday-Sunday: I’ll be out of town! Headed to Type A Parent Conference, and looking forward to someone else prepping my meals, and cleaning up the dishes. 😉

What’s on your menu this week?
