Continuing last year’s resolution to eat more at home (and our success saving $4,000) I have a renewed passion for meal planning. We were still sort of ‘on vacation’ last week since my husband was off work, so menu planning was informal, but we still ate at home aside from a few planned outings.
This week’s meal plan is a retread of some of our favorites, though we’ll be ending the week with a few days off of school (as if they didn’t already have enough?) so dinner will be more casual this weekend.
Meal Plan for January 7th-January 14th
Monday: BBQ chicken legs, mashed sweet potatoes, salad, and corn bread.
Tuesday: Taco night!
Recipes: Taco beef recipe, Easy Guacamole Recipe.
Wednesday: Breakfast for dinner. Pancakes, sausage, fruit salad.
Thursday: Sandwiches since we have a busy night!
Friday: Homemade pizzas, salad, and garlic bread.
Saturday: Clean out the fridge night.
Sunday: Pot roast, mashed potatoes, and salad.
