This week my friend Amanda (@highimpactmom and blogger at It’s Me, Amanda) was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Amanda is a married mom of two sweet little girls and she’s a spitfire with a positive attitude so we know she’s going to beat it.
As soon as we learned what was happening we created an army to help raise funds, awareness, and support. If there’s one thing the blogging community has taught me it’s how close we all are despite our physical distance. Nothing will stop us from supporting Amanda through her battle with cancer. She’s going to have a long fight but we’re already planning for the long haul that is ahead of her and her family.
Amanda is a fighter but she needs help.

Take Care of You
When you learn of someone so young having cancer it’s a wakeup call for so many of us to take preventative measures to care for ourselves. Do that self exam, get that mammogram, go to the doctor.

Join Amanda’s Army
Join us in the Facebook group created to organize Amanda’s Army. You don’t need to know Amanda to join. We’ve been so lucky to have people who are touched by her story who have never even met her come in to find out how they can help.

She sure does!
