If you’re still stuck on ideas though our friends at TimetoPlayMag.com have a price comparison tool which provides users with live pricing details of the hottest toys and games. It’s kind of awesome to see the prices update as you hunt!
Kidz Bop Christmas! ($9.99)
Ok I know what you’re thinking. But KidzBop is full of fun songs that you will want to sing along to with your kids. At just $9.99 this is a great stocking stuffer or a gift that would go great with a new CD player (I know, how quaint!) or karoke machine.
Pirates Carrying Case Playset ($16.03)
I love the detail of Playmobil toys and having a set in a carrying case is a brilliant and low tech way to keep your kids busy wherever you go. The pirate one is my favorite, but they have tons of other optons from schoolhouse to princess.
Glow Crazy Distance Doodler ($19.50)
A great way to keep the kids busy all winter long, and for $19.50 it’s budget-friendly too.
Uncle Milton Rainbow In My Room ($16.18)
“It’s just so beautiful! What does it mean???” Maybe your kids won’t go all double rainbow on you, but making their own rainbows is still pretty awesome.
ThinkFun Zingo ($19.16)
This is one of our favorite games and gifts. It’s so fun to play, and never gets old. Ok maybe by the 113th time you’ve played it that day.
Lego + Hobbit=happy little Lego and LOTR fans. The Lego game designs are fun for older kids to create and play, and younger kids can easily understand the gameplay.
Glee Candy Making Kit ($13.95)–Win it! See below for details.
These natural and fun candy and gum making kits are sure to make any kid thrilled. Who doesn’t love the idea of ‘cooking’ up a little candy in the kitchen, and of course sampling their fine work.
We received a gum making kit and had the chance to use it over Thanksgiving. It’s such a fun activity for the kids. They especially loved rolling out the gum ‘dough’. Bonus points for being easy to cleanup.
Angry Birds: on Thin Ice Game (on sale for $7.99)
For the Angry Birds lover on your list this game takes the fun of the app into the real world. It’s perfect for bird obsessed kids who need a break from screens but don’t want to give up the fun of their favorite Angry Birds.
Galaxy Solar Recon Launcher ($21.97)
This awesome launcher is a great gift for almost any kid on your list. The Koosh balls are glow in the dark, and the set includes a ‘charger’ that allows kids to ‘glow’ the balls before game-blasting fun.
For your Lego, architecture or NYC fan this is a great gift. The kids is designed for older kids, but can be a fun project with an older sibling, mom, or dad.
We are big fans of Where’s Waldo, and puzzles are a great way to keep the kids busy over the winter break when we’re stuck indoors. I love that long after you’ve built this puzzle you’ll be looking for Waldo and his pals.
Play-doh Mega Pack 36 cans ($17.99)
The kids love Play-doh. It can keep them busy for hours on end creating all kinds of creatures, scenes, animals, and so much more. This mega set would make a great gift for your little artist or divvy it up for everything from classroom gifts to stocking stuffers.
