I love Halloween, but I know not everyone likes to get dressed up in crazy or silly costumes. I put together some frugal (but fashionable) looks for taking the kids trick or treating or going to the neighborhood Halloween party.
Camo is hot this season, so why not use it to dress up like the cast of Duck Dynasty? Pair camo leggings with a camo top and a trucker hat or a bandana. You can wear them as separates after Halloween.
Harry Potter fans can dress up as their favorite character. Would you rather be Hermione, Ron, or Harry? choose based on your hair color, and use clothes you can wear again and again this season along with a HP inspired tie (that you can hand over to a guy in your life post-Halloween) and a wand. Find wands that are realistic here, or make your own-even a stick will do.
Katniss is another popular idea, and it’s likely you have almost everything you need in your closet aside from the side braid.
Dressing up as the Wicked Witch from OZ is another great option. You’ll be buying a classic dress in this season’s hottest color for this costume. Simply add some black shoes, dramatic eye makeup, and a witch’s hat.
The Pancercise video was a big hit this year. All you need to model the star of the video is white pants and a pink shirt, big hair and of course you have to get your prance on.
Since statement outwear is huge this year pick up a statement piece like a faux fur jacket and dress up as Macklemore.
What do you plan to dress up as this Halloween?
