Coffee. It’s one of my favorite things. Delicious, caffeinated, and rich. Caffeine wakes me up every morning, and helps me get through those days when my to do list is long and my day is short.
I like to start my day with a hot cup of coffee no matter the weather, but I also drink iced lattes and coffee all year long too. I say ‘iced’ but I prefer no actual ice in my cup since it diluted the coffee. I usually give it a few minutes in the freezer or toss in some ice cubes and stir before pulling them out to make it even colder than refrigerated drinks. (you can make coffee ice cubes too)
Green Mountain is one of my favorite coffee brands. They have a variety of roasts that are delicious and full of complex flavors. So I was excited to learn Green Mountain introduced a new line of Espresso Roast Iced Lattes in Mocha and Vanilla flavors.
I snagged a bottle at a local big box store in Vanilla, and oh my. It’s like drinking an expensive iced latte but I only have to head to the fridge. It’s got the strong and bold flavor of espresso with a touch of flavor and a good amount of milk. This is no iced coffee-it’s stronger, bolder, and just better. The flavor is not syrupy sweet or too bland. As Goldilocks said it’s just right. The price is right too, since you’ll spend less than a single latte on a whole bottle!
Green Mountain is also serving up savings with a $1 off coupon here so you can taste for yourself! The product can be found at national retailers, and will be on even more shelves/cases in 2014. So don’t worry if you’re hoping to taste it-it’s coming soon to a store near you.
