Make Gifting Easy with eBay’s Holiday Wishlist App

November 29, 2012 By Kelly 3 Comments

I don’t know about you but the holidays have a way of sneaking up on me before I know it. Despite my best efforts to get organized I often find it tough to shop for certain people on my list.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this time of year, but hunting down the perfect gift on a budget can be tough. My best advice is to find a category or hobby that your  recipient  loves. Whether they love  golf or crave the latest beauty products you can find a ton of great goodies at budget-friendly prices when you narrow it down.
This year though, for the people that are the toughest to shop for, I’ve got it covered with a new app from eBay.

With advice from experts eBay has created  the Holiday Gift Shop  app on Facebook  that not only allows you to create gift lists for people you are shopping.  You can create gift lists  for friends, your spouse, or family members, but the cool part is they won’t be able to see what you’ve created!

Best of all though the app ties right into eBay’s mobile app or eBay so you can shop for wishlist items with just a few clicks. Talk about easy holiday shopping!

Create a Kid’s Wishlist

You can get your kids in on the action by having them create their own wishlist too. It will make it easy to share what they want with family members and take the guesswork out of shopping for you.

The best part though is that they can send their Wishlist directly to the North Pole using the app, and you’ll get an email copy you can print out or forward to family and friends.

You can also share their wishlist directly on Facebook.

Win a WishList item:

Anyone who creates a gift list, for themselves or for a child, will be entered for a chance to win. Each day eBay will award an item from a lucky person’s list. Entrants can also win eBay gift cards.
Creating my Wishlists:

Without getting too detailed (since some family members read the blog..ahem) I will say I found some ideas I hadn’t considered!

I created my own Wishlist too just for my personal use. It’s handy to have all my wants bookmarked in one place so I can share if someone needs ideas. 😉

Do you create gift lists? Will you try out the eBay app to find some new ideas and win an item from your wishlist?

There are some really neat features on this! I can’t wait to check out the wishlist. Nice that it gets emailed to you so that you can forward on to others.

I use Amazon’s Wish List. You can create a wish list that you can share publicly, keep private and share with friends and family. You can also create gift lists for people that you can keep private as well. Or you can use the direct method, like my husband. Despite having a wishlist, he emails me links directly to what he wants, whether it’s on his list or not.

Very, very cool idea! Thanks for sharing it.
