Our dog is a big part of our family and we love having him in our lives, so when on a recent vet visit I heard that he was on the heavier side we were a little concerned. We cut off the too often treats, cut back on his food just slightly (2 just-filled scoops instead of 2 overflowing scoops), and added an extra walk a day (when possible). It’s officially summer vacation here which means the kids need stuff to do. I’ll share more about our summer plans soon, but I always make sure we have plenty of downtime. Babycakes Covers The Classics
Have I raved enough about Erin McKenna’s bakery (formerly Babycakes) yet? If not let me rave some more. I discovered Babycakes in Disney and was hooked. On a recent trip I discovered that not only did they get a redesign and new name, but they are in a great new space in Downtown Disney. While picking up souvenirs for the kids on our trip we purchase one of Erin’s books, Babycakes Covers The Classics. I figured if my daughter and husband love backing so much who am I to not encourage them to make yummy things I can eat?! The recipes are all gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and many feature agave nectar in lieu of regular sugar. Everything they’ve made so far his been delicious. I’m happy to keep sampling. 😉
