July 4th is coming soon. We love the holiday and usually celebrate by heading to the beach to spend they day playing capped off by an amazing fireworks show. While my kids often have some kind of cute outfit or shirt to wear for July 4th I cannot remember the last time I wore something patriotic on July 4th. So I started browsing Shop At Home to find something patriotic for myself to wear at a great price.
Frugal Essentials for July 4th

2 One Piece Swimsuit-Retro Swimdress ($54)
There are times when a bikini might not work-I certainly prefer a one piece when I’m digging sandcastles and chasing waves with my kiddos. So if you’re looking for a killer one piece at a great price this navy blue swimdress is gorgeous. Pair it with a white coverup, red lipstick, and retro sunglasses to complete the look.
Everyone needs a good beach tote. You need space to carry your towel, sunscreen, and a great beach read (even if you know you’ll be chasing kids all day long!). Last year, I invested in swim bags for each of my kids so they can carry their own things so this bag will be just for me!
You can’t go to the beach, park, or pool without a great beach towel. They are perfect for picnics, drying off, or just having a comfy spot to sit. I would pair it with navy shorts for a classic look that would be perfect for watching fireworks. You could dress it up with a maxi skirt or jeans and pair it with some statement jewelry for a date night or adults only BBQ.

You definitely need a great dress that’s comfy, casual, and chic for July 4th weekend. This high low tie dye tank dress is a great option. You could use it as a coverup to watch fireworks with a suit underneath or if you go out to dinner on July 4th weekend you could dress it up. Try it with some cute wedges and jewelry for date night or a girl’s night out.
7 Comfortable Shoes-Women’s Duet Watercolor Flat ($39.99)
Sometimes (okay all the time) all it takes is a cute pair of shoes to make the our fit great. I love Crocs shoes they are comfy and wear really well. I know what you’re thinking-Crocs?! But they have amazing styles that are comfortable and washable, so what’s not to love? I think these are an adorable way to show your patriotism without being over the top. These are worth the investment in my opinion as they hold up extremely well and if you get sand or dirt in them you can just rinse them right off!
Being able to pull something out of your bag to entertain the kids while you’re waiting for festivities or fireworks to start is key. This beach ball is perfect for playing in the grassy field or the beach. It lights up so it’s perfect for playing at dusk. Before you know it other kids will join in and you’ll have a full-fledged game going (and all the other parents will thank you).
