One of my goals this year is to make sure I make a meal plan each week. Even if I end up straying off course, or we have a hiccup in our schedule we will have ideas in place to help us make healthier and better choices each week.
The way I used to meal plan was to make a list of meals and figure out what we wanted/had time for each night. I think the meal plan will help us tremendously.
Monday: Chicken (pan broiled) , Fish (I have to use up both, but neither were enough to make a meal), steamed broccoli, clementines and salad
Tuesday: Split turkey breast (using Martha’s recipe for a perfect roast turkey, adjusted for the small size), cranberry sauce, green beans, spinach and clementine salad
Wednesday: Taco night! Taco beef, shredded cheese, guac, lettuce, hard taco shells, and salsa!
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: The best flank steak ever, salad, frugal fries and fruit for dessert
Saturday: Leftovers/possibly eating out
Sunday: Emma’s choice! It’s her 9th birthday.
